This adapter is designed to reach infinity focus while retaining the proper registration distance for maintaining optical quality when you are using vintage and modern lenses or other lenses with floating elements.
Because your camera's body cap cannot attach to the lens adapter, a rigid-and-removable locking dust cover is provided that allows you to disconnect your lens, leave the adapter mounted, and keep your camera's sensor protected during transportation. Fine-tuning and adjustments are made possible with the supplied set of shims.
OPTIONAL SUPPORT COLLAR:
Made of solid billet aluminum, our support collar is designed to provide optimal stability by supporting the entire adapter with a 360-degree adjustable collar. The base has a 1/4"-20 thread and a 3/8"-16 thread to work universally on all tripod mounts.
