The Simmod SimMount Nikon F to EF Conversion Kit is a precision-engineered mount replacement designed to convert Nikon F-mount lenses, including AI, AIS, and Zeiss ZF/ZF.2, into a native Canon EF interface. (simmod)

A True Mount Conversion

This is not an adapter placed between lens and camera.
This is a direct mount replacement system.

The SimMount installs onto the existing Nikon F mount structure, creating a fixed EF interface without introducing additional tolerance from intermediary adapters. This results in a rigid, unified mechanical connection.

Installation

Installation is performed in stages:

• Apply heat to factory screws to release thread-lock compound

• Remove original mount screws

• Install base plate aligned to lens mount

• Attach EF mount using supplied hardware

Mount orientation can be adjusted during installation.

The SimMount system enables Nikon F-mount lenses to operate as native EF lenses, allowing use across EF-based still and cinema camera systems without additional adapters.

No electronic communication is supported.

This is a passive mechanical conversion.
