Simmod Olympus Zuiko OM to LPL Conversion Mount

Olympus OM lenses were designed around a compact still photography mount.
This system converts that interface into a large-format cinema standard.

The Simmod SimMount Olympus Zuiko OM to LPL Conversion Mount is a precision-engineered mount replacement designed to convert Olympus OM lenses into a native LPL interface, enabling use on LPL-mounted cinema cameras or through LPL adapter systems.

A Direct Mount Conversion

This is not an adapter placed between lens and camera.
This is a mount conversion system.

The SimMount installs directly onto the existing Olympus OM mount structure, creating a fixed LPL interface without introducing additional tolerance from intermediary adapters. This results in a rigid mechanical connection between lens and camera.

Not compatible with:

• Olympus OM 55mm f/1.2
• Olympus OM 500mm (simmod)

Installation

Installation is performed in stages:

• Apply heat to factory screws to release thread-lock compound
• Remove original mount screws
• Align the SimMount to the lens mount
• Secure using supplied screws

Proper JIS tools are recommended to avoid stripping screws. (simmod)

System Behavior

• Fully mechanical conversion, no electronic communication
• Does not alter optical characteristics of the lens
• Converts the mounting interface only

• LPL mount is not compatible with PL camera mounts (simmod)
• Conversion modifies the original mount configuration
