Simmod 80mm Slip-On CineShade Matte Kit

Traditional matte boxes provide flare control and lens shading, but often add bulk, weight, and complexity to a camera setup. The CineShade system approaches flare control through a compact slip-on design.

The Simmod CineShade Matte Kit is a set of lightweight slip-on lens mattes designed to reduce stray light and unwanted lens flare on lenses with an 80mm outer diameter.

Slip-On Matte System

The CineShade mounts directly onto the front outer diameter of the lens using a friction-based slip-on interface.

• Installs similarly to a front lens cap
• Designed for rapid installation and removal during operation

The system is intended for lightweight handheld, gimbal, drone, and compact cinema configurations where traditional matte boxes may be impractical.
